A liensale is a sale of a vehicle in which the party that is selling received approval from the Department of Motor Vehicles to proceed with the sale. Liens can be placed on vehicles for multiple reasons:

a vehicle has been parked or abandoned on private property without paying storage fees
Service Providers who provided service on a vehicle that still has a remaining balance to be paid
an individual/business who loaned money to the owner of the vehicle

Individuals Who Want to Place a Lien on a Vehicle Must First Apply For The Lien and Show Proof of Possession or Service.

Liensales Are Not To Be Done when Ownership Papers or Title Has Been Misplaced or Lost. There Are Other Procedures That Need To Be Followed When These Inccidents Happen. Contact Us To Further Assist You.
